Sales and Refund Policy
Please review these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchases at the Vizik Store. They set out your rights and obligations with respect to your purchases, including important limitations and exclusions. Your placement of an order at the Vizik Store constitutes your agreement that these policies apply to the order, so be certain you understand them before you place your order.
Proof of Purchase Vizik Store will send you a confirmation of your order via email if you have included an email address with your order. If you have not included an email address, you will receive a confirmation of your order by regular mail when your order is shipped.
Custom-Configured Product Vizik offers certain products that may be custom-configured to your specifications, and Vizik encourages you to review your order carefully. Since a custom-configured product is built to your specifications, the order cannot be changed, modified, or canceled once your order is in production. Please review Vizik’s return and refund policy carefully before ordering.
Payment Methods Vizik allows you to make your purchases using any of the payment methods described below. Please read carefully our policies with respect to payment methods before you place your order.
Credit, Debit, and Check Cards Whether you order online or email in your order to Vizik, you may pay by credit, debit, or check card. When you provide Vizik with your card information, Vizik will obtain a pre-approval from the card company for the amount of the order, which may result in a corresponding block on your available credit while the pre-approval remains in place. Vizik will not bill your credit card or process a transaction under your debit or check card until we have received a signed credit card authorization form back from you. Vizik Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.
Wire Transfer/Direct Deposit The easiest and fastest payment option is a wire transfer. Unlike credit cards, money orders and personal checks, the turnaround time is usually less than 48 hours. With a wire transfer you simply send your payment directly from your bank account to ours. If you have Online-Banking you can make the wire transfer online. Some banks will allow you to make transfer arrangements over the phone, others will require you to fill out the transfer form in person. In any case, wire transfers are easy to do and your bank will surely guide you through the transfer process.
The transferred amount should be the total, including shipping charges and sales tax, if applicable. Your bank might charge you a small transaction fee. We will cover all transfer fees.

Signature is required for delivery: Most of Vizik’s shipments contain valuable computer equipment. Please note that Vizik is not able to adjust the shipping address once package has been shipped. Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery.
Delivery Policy Your product will be shipped within a maximum of 7 business days (excluding holidays) from the time payment clears. With an exception when units are backordered or being configured to your order specification. Actual delivery time may vary depending upon the processing time at the customs. We are not responsible for any delays caused by the customs or any delays caused by the postal carrier. Once an item is shipped, postal carrier assumes the full responsibility of delivering the item on time. Delivery times are estimates only and we shall not be liable for delays. Therefore, if goods are not delivered in a reasonable time period, you should request a postage refund from the postal carrier.
Order Processing The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. Vizik will begin payment processing for orders placed on weekends or holidays on the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Vizik ships products from warehouse locations outside the United Kingdom and the EU. Overnight shipping is not available on products shipped from outside the EU.
Prices Vizik Store endeavors to offer you competitive prices on our products. Your total order price will include the price of the product on the day of shipping and all shipping charges. It will not included any applicable local sales taxes, import duty, and clearance charges. Vizik reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at the Vizik Store at any time and particularly to correct pricing errors that appear on the store.
Product Availability Although Vizik makes every effort to ship your order according to the lead-time provided, shipping dates may change due to changes in supply. If the lead-time changes, Vizik will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping estimate.
Given the popularity of some products, Vizik may restrict the number of such items that you may purchase. Vizik will post limitations on quantity on the Vizik Store web site or will inform you of product purchase limits at the time it processes your order. Vizik reserves the right to change quantities available for purchase at any time.
Vizik makes every effort to supply you with the products you order, but there may be occasions when Vizik confirms orders but learns that it cannot supply the ordered products, either at all or in the quantities ordered. These occasions can include when Vizik learns that the products no longer are being manufactured or they otherwise become unavailable to Vizik, when Vizik cannot source components for the configuration you ordered, or when there was a pricing error at the Vizik Store when you ordered. In those circumstances, Vizik will contact you to inform you and, if you are interested, Vizik may suggest alternative products that might meet your needs. If you do not wish to order alternative products, Vizik will cancel your order for products Vizik cannot supply and for any other products that you no longer wish to order as a result, and will refund your purchase price for those products.
Product Warranty Merchandise is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. This is a warranty of the manufacturer and not of Vizik. Should merchandise not perform properly during the warranty period, Vizik will not issue a refund or replace with new equipment. Customer is therefore, forewarned that there may be a period of time during warranty period, while merchandise is being repaired, that customer will be without use of merchandise. No associate of Vizik is authorized to verbally or in writing make statements contrary to the above, or any other type of promise, guarantee, or statement of fact reversing company policy. In no event shall Vizik be liable for any damages whatsoever including without limitation loss of profits, business or goodwill, or other similar loss even if Vizik has been advised of the possibility of such loss.
All products are, to the greatest extent permitted by law, sold "AS IS" by the Vizik Store, but are accompanied by their full manufacturers' standard warranties. Vizik sells "AS IS" products as is, where is, and with all faults, and without express or implied warranties from Vizik. In addition, in some cases manufacturers’ warranties for exported goods may vary or even be null and void. If an item needs to be repaired, customer must return it to the appropriate manufacturer unless the manufacturer requires that the item is returned to us. In that case, we will send it to the appropriate warehouse/manufacturer for repair. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. Shipping fees to and from repair center are non-refundable.
Customer understands that Vizik.com is not the manufacturer of the products purchased by customer hereunder and the only warranties offered are those of the manufacturer, not us. In purchasing the products, customer is relying on the manufacturer's specifications only and is not relying on any statements, specifications in brochures, photographs or other illustrations representing the products that may be provided by us. In connection with services, neither affiliates of Vizik.com nor third party service providers are our agents and we have no obligation or liability arising from any services performed by or any warranty, if any, made by, such service providers.
We do not warrant the performance or integrity of any product, but merely pass through to the customer whatever end-user warranty the manufacturers or software publishers provide with their respective products.
By purchasing at the Vizik Store, whether you place your order online or by telephone, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review Vizik’s warranty terms, have done so to the degree you need to be familiar with them, and you accept their terms and conditions, including the limitations, exclusions, and disclaimers in them.
Return and Refund Policy Buyer shall examine all merchandise promptly on receipt thereof. Buyer shall notify seller of all claimed shortages or damaged merchandise within (1) day of receipt of goods. Failure to give such notice shall be deemed an acceptance of the goods as of the date of shipment.
Buyer may return DOA defective merchandise for exchange to seller within (3) days of receipt of goods, provided buyer obtains (RMA) NUMBER from seller prior to returning goods. Seller shall reserve the right to have buyer return defective or DOA merchandise directly to the manufacturer or other service center for repair or replacement. Seller makes no warranty, express or implied, other than those specifically set forth herein.
All returns other than DOA are subject to sellers prior approval within (7) days of the receipt of your order. No merchandise shall be returned for exchange, credit, repair or refund without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RMA) supplied by the seller. All service and shipping charges shall be non-refundable.
Under no circumstances shall non DOA merchandise be returned for credit or refund unless goods are undamaged, in original unopened packaging, in resalable condition and unused. There is no exception to this policy.
Non-defective opened items can not be returned if the factory seal is broken.
These items are generally considered used goods and cannot be resold as new. Do not assume the item(s) you are ordering are returnable if opened. Please contact our customer service department for more information prior to placing your order if you have any questions or concerns.
Please note that due to manufacturer requirements, items from the following companies or categories can not be returned once opened for any reason: IBM, Lenovo, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Sony, Apple, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, memory products and software. This is not a complete list, and is provided as an example. Please contact our customer service department for more information prior to placing your order if you have any questions or concerns.
Vizik will not issue any credit for shipments that were refused and therefore returned to us for any reason. Orders cannot be cancelled once they are processed and shipped. All order cancellations are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.
Configure-to-order, personalized or other customized products may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances unless such product is Dead on Arrival (see the section below for more detailed information on such Dead on Arrival products). If the item is returnable and you send it back to us unopened in the original box, Vizik will offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. You must return the product to Vizik within (3) calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. Vizik will assess a 20% restocking fee on any returned hardware or accessory.
Please note that Vizik does not permit the return of or offer refunds for the following products:
• Product that is custom configured to your specifications, including personalized products such as memory and hard drive upgrades
• Opened memory, including storage devices such as memory sticks
• Opened software
• Electronic software downloads
• Vizik Gift Cards
• Vizik Gift Packaging
NOTE: Vizik recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) insure your package for safe return to Vizik so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking or (2) insure the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
Dead On Arrival (DOA) Product: System Failure Out of the Box. Hardware product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic operability, when you first use it after opening the box. If you believe that your product is DOA, please contact us within 24 hours.
If Vizik determines that a returned product is not DOA, Vizik will apply standard manufacturer product warranty to the product. Further, if Vizik determines that you have misrepresented a returned product’s condition and that the product is not DOA, Vizik may impose a 200 GBP handling fee. Import Duty and Taxes Since products are shipped from outside of the EU we do not charge vat, however, we are not responsible for any import duty, clearance fees or other taxes. These may be collected by the courier used to deliver your goods - this is a charge levied by your government, not by Vizik.com, and we have no control over it. Customers are responsible for all charges. We will not issue any credit for shipments that were refused and therefore returned to us for any reason. *Shipping fee we charge is a fee for shipping the unit including insurance and it does not include any taxes, duty, clearance fees.
VAT and import duty guarantee for UK residents: If you reside in the UK and have received import duty or vat receipt from customs please fax us a copy of the VAT/Import Duty receipt to +44 7006 077 260 or email us a scanned copy to info@vizik.com and we will fully reimburse you these charges. At this time we are able to reimburse you only through PayPal.com or Moneybookers.com. Do not forget to include your Name and the Order Number.
Compatibility It is the buyers responsibility to check with the manufacturer whether a particular model is compatible for use in your home country. If you are unsure please ask. Vizik.com will not be responsible if you buy an item from us that is not compatible in your country. However, all units we sell are UK/EU compatible, meaning that hardware and software can be fully used in your country. Keyboard layout for notebooks is standard English usqwerty. You can also change the layout of the keyboard in the control panel for your desired country as well if you reside in a non English speaking country.
LCD Pixels The thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) for notebook computers contains in the region of 2 million TFTs. A small number of missing, discolored, or lit all the time dots or pixels is characteristic of TFT LCD technology due to manufacturing process for such technology irrespective of manufacturer. The computer laptop industry has come to a common agreement that the laptop LCD is only defective if it has 8 pixels out that are contiguous, or near each other, or 21 pixels on the entire screen. Therefore, missing, discolored, or lit all the time dots or pixels are not covered under any warranty.

These policies shall not be interpreted or construed to confer any rights or remedies on any third parties.
